In the January/February 2008 issue of ISO Management Systems magazine, entitled Continuity and Risk, Canadian Peter Merrill writes an "Update on ISO 10018–future standard on 'people aspects' of quality." Merrill is a member of the Chair’s Strategic Advisory Group for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)'s technical committee for Quality management and quality assurance (ISO/TC 176), for which the Standards Council of Canada holds the Secretariat. Merrill also leads the study group for ISO/TC 176’s subcommittee dealing with supporting technologies (ISO/TC 176/SC 3).
