New ISO standard for spinal disc implants will help reduce suffering of back pain patients

A new ISO standard has been developed to evaluate the wear performance of spinal disc prostheses to help ensure that, once implanted, the prostheses will be able to absorb the impact from the body’s daily activities for years to come.
