UK and Canada Demonstrate Commitment to E-Commerce and E-Government

Canada and the United Kingdom recently signed a joint statement in support of initiatives to encourage electronic commerce and e-government to demonstrate their shared priorities and to highlight their cooperation in these areas. Signatories were Canadian Minister of Industry, Brian Tobin, President of the Treasury Board of Canada and Minister Responsible for infrastructure, Lucienne Robillard and two of their British counterparts.
