The September/October issue of ISO Management Systems magazine, entitled Sky High ISO 9001, features the article, "Around the globe, ISO 9000 means quality", by Canadian Gary Cort. Cort is the new Chair of the International Organization for Standardization’s technical committee for Quality management and quality assurance (ISO/TC 176), for which the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) holds the secretariat. The magazine also features the article, "Along the road with ISO/TC 176", by outgoing ISO/TC 176 Chair, Trevor Smith. David Zimmerman, the Secretary of ISO/TC 176, also contributed an article, "ISO/TC 176 Serbia plenary celebrates 20th anniversary of ISO 9001". In addition, SCC's contribution to the approval and publishing of ISO’s first "International Workshop Agreement" document are cited in the article, "Health care QMS combines Balridge and ISO 9001".
