International standards bodies approve OpenDocument OASIS standard for data interoperability of office applications

Exchanging office or text documents created by different office suites or platforms is no longer an obstacle after the establishment of the OpenDocument Format standard (ISO/IEC 26300) that allows files to be freely exchanged without loss of data integrity or increase in file size.
