The February 2008 edition of ISO Focus: "Climate Change, Act now!" features a commentary by Canadian Kevin McKinley, ISO Deputy Secretary-General, entitled "ISO’s toolbox for tackling climate change".   Michel Girard, the Director of Climate Change Services for the Canadian Standards Association has written articles on "Managing greenhouse gas footprints", and "Standards to help address carbon capture and storage". Canadians Kevin Brady and Duncan Noble, of Five Winds International, co-authored, "Towards an ISO standard for carbon footprint"; and, Douglas O’Brien, Convenor of the international working group on Imagery (ISO/TC 211/WG 6), has contributed to "Measurements to know and understand our world".
