Walkerton submission links laboratory accreditation, drinking water safety

The Standards Council, the Canadian Association for Environmental Analytical Laboratories (CAEAL) and the Canadian Council of Independent Laboratories recently presented a backgrounder on laboratory accreditation and its role in drinking water safety to the public inquiry investgating E. coli contaminationin the municipal water system in Walkerton, Ontario.
