IAF and ILAC establish International Accreditation Day

The International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) have designated June 9, 2008 as International Accreditation Day. To be celebrated annually, International Accreditation Day is intended to raise awareness around the globe of the importance of accreditation-related activities. IAF and ILAC voted to establish the day of recognition during their joint General Assembly, which took place in Sydney, Australia on October 28, 2007.
