Canada cited among the most trade-oriented economies in the world

he Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) notes the significant progress made by Canada towards free trade goals, congratulating Canada for its open and transparent standards system, particularly with respect to initiatives that promote the transparency of standards and the regulatory system through the SCC web site. Canada was also commended for adopting national standards from, or based on, international standards.
