![]() ISO Focus, July-August 20092009-09-03The July-August issue of ISO Focus Magazine, entitled, ‘Renewing Confidence,’ features an article co-written by Canadians Kernaghan Webb and Stanislav Karapetrovic, as well as Australian Bill Dee, about ‘Turning financial crises into opportunities.’ Webb, an associate professor at Ryerson University, was the convenor of the ISO working groups that helped develop the ISO standards for Quality management -- Customer satisfaction -- Guidelines for codes of conduct for organizations (ISO 10001) and Quality management -- Customer satisfaction -- Guidelines for dispute resolution external to organizations (ISO 10003). Karapetrovic, a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Alberta, is a customer service liaison expert for the ISO subcommittee responsible for Supporting technologies in Quality management and quality assurance (ISO/TC 176/SC 3) and the convenor of the ISO/TC 176 task group on portfolio management.
