National Quality Institute Accredited as an Auditor Certification Organization of Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditors and Auditors

OTTAWA - The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) today announced that it has granted accreditation to National Quality Institute as an Auditor Certification Organization of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Lead Auditors and Auditors. This accreditation is granted in accordance with the provisions of:

• CAN-P-912: Criteria and Procedures for the Accreditation of Quality Management Systems Auditors Certification Organizations
• CAN-P-1412: Criteria and Procedures for Accreditation of Environmental Auditors Certification Organizations.

The SCC's accreditation program for Auditor Certification Organizations verifies competencies and formally certifies Auditors to conduct QMS and/or EMS Audits. The certification of an auditor provides assurance that the individual is capable of delivering services in the fields of QMS and EMS.
