Canada to host international standards community

OTTAWA – Canada will welcome the world’s standards community this fall, when it receives delegates to the International Organization for Standardization’s 29th General Assembly.  Hosted by the Standards Council of Canada, the event will gather representatives from among ISO’s 156 member countries in Ottawa, from September 10-16, 2006.

The International Organization for Standardization is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies, comprised of approximately 156 members.
