Hosted by the Standards Council of Canada, the event will gather representatives from among ISO’s 156 member countries in Ottawa, from September 10-16, 2006. Playing host to this meeting will allow the Standards Council of Canada, as Canada's member body to ISO, to highlight the importnant role theat standards play in... The International Organization for Standardization is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies, comprised of approximately 156 members. The object of organization is to promote the development of standardization and related activities with a view to facilitating the international exchange of goods and services.
