Japan's Comments on SC34 N003: Proposed SC34 Structure

SC34/Japan basically accepts the SC34 structure proposed by SC34 N003, except the following:

1. SMDL should be dealt with in the Information Association WG.

Rationale: SMDL is closely related to HyTime. SMDL and HyTime should be discussed in the same WG.

2. HTML should be dealt with in the Information Association WG.

Rationale: HTML is a hypertext presentation application of SGML and includes mechanisms for hypermedia object processing. Therefore, HTML should be discussed in the WG where Hypermedia is discussed.
