I shall not be making the meeting next week. Although I would (I am sure) find your meeting very interesting, it turns out my flight would have been 1000 pounds (UK), so I decided I would save my meagre research & travel funds(!) until those interested had communicated electronically. I thus propose to:
- set up a 'possible SC32/SC34 liaison/overlap/common interests' page, to give a preliminary, informal (and personal) description of what I think the issues & individual benefits might be from such a liaison. I will link this from my home page http://www.keele.ac.uk/depts/cs/Staff/Homes/Mdb3/index.htm and then invite review, comments, etc. from any of your members and those of SC32 (in SC32, I think the main interest will come from WG2, but I won't prejudge this).
- on advice & comments, link to other `white papers', etc, and then review where we are then.
If it seems that the liaison is going to work, then on your advice, I would attend meetings, for specific discussions (and maybe vice-versa).
Cheers,
Mike (Brough)
