1. Amendment to ISO 9573-13

WG1 recommends that the names assigned as comments to entities should be those used in ISO 10646. There should be both SGML and XML versions of the entity set definitions. Wherever possible the MathML mapping should be adopted. The editor should resolve existing conflicts wherever possible and prepare text for a revised CD for review by national bodies.

2. Promotion of Part 2 to IS

WG1 recommends that, following the successful FDIS ballot, completed artwork for Part 2, dated as ISO 19757-2:2004 be submitted to the ISO Central Secretariat for publication as an IS.

Note: The XML files, which are non-standard due to the need to express the constraints associated with the language, are not suitable for processing within ISO and will not be submitted to ISO. PDF output will be provided to ISO.

3. PDAM for Part 2

WG1 recommends that a new normative Annex for Part 2 be prepared to add the RELAX NG compact syntax as an alternative notation for Regular-grammar-based Validation. Draft text for a PDAM will be prepared by the editor for submission to ISO.

4. Progression of Part 3

WG1 recommends that the text for Part 3 be revised to take in account comments made by WG1 before being submitted to national bodies for CD ballot.

5. Progression of Part 4

WG1 recommends that the Namespace Routing Language be accepted as an additional basis for the revision to Part 4. The editor is instructed produce a revised document based on comments made at the WG1 meeting, after adjusting the document structure to conform to the ISO directives. After electronic review of the draft within the group, this document should be submitted for FCD review by national bodies. A revised comment resolution statement will be produced to explain the effects of the proposed changes. The revised comments will be ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC34 N476.

6. Progression of Part 5

WG1 recommends that the Datatype Library Language be used as the basis for defining extensible datatype libraries but should be edited to take into account comments made by WG1. The editor is to ask Jenni Tenniison to undertake sufficient work to produce a CD for Part 5

7. Progression of Part 7

WG1 recommends that the existing draft of Part 7 be simplified based on comments made by WG1 before being submitted to national bodies for a CD ballot.

8. Progression of Part 10

WG1 recommends that a revised text for Part 10 be prepared, taking into account the suggestions made at the WG1 meeting and the ISO directives for document structure. The document should be submitted for CD review by national bodies.

9. URIs to identify ISO 19575 parts

WG1 recommends that ISO should have its own mechanism for URL allocation within standards so that the parts of DSDL and other SC34 standards can be allocated permanent namespace identifiers that are not subject to external control. WG1 requests that JTC1 investigate with ITTF the possibility of establishing a base namespace for ISO standards.
