Report of SC34/WG2
1. ISO/IEC 10179, DSSSL
1.1 Amd.2: Extensions to multilingual and comlicated document styles
SC34 N469 (PDAM2 to ISO/IEC 10179 (N480: its ballot form)) was circulated. The ballot was closed in 2004-03-12 and the PDAM2 was approved as shown in SC34 N491.
Disposition of the PDAM ballot and FPDAM text will be discussed in the WG2 meeting, Amsterdam.
2. ISO/IEC TR 19758, DSSSL Library
2.1 Amd.1: Extensions to Basic Composition Styles and Tables
SC34 N471 (PDAM1 to ISO/IEC TR 19758 (N481: its ballot form)) was circulated. The ballot was closed in 2004-03-12 and the PDAM1 was approved as shown in SC34 N493.
Disposition of the PDAM ballot and DAM text will be discussed in the WG2 meeting, Amsterdam.
2.2 Amd.2: Extensions to Multilingual Compositions (South-East Asian Compositions)
SC34 N472 (PDAM2 to ISO/IEC TR 19758 (N482: its ballot form)) was circulated. The ballot was closed in 2004-03-12 and the PDAM2 was approved as shown in SC34 N494.
Disposition of the PDAM ballot and DAM text will be discussed in the WG2 meeting, Amsterdam.
2.3 Amd.3: Extensions to Multilingual Compositions (North and South Asian Compositions)
The experts of DSSSL Library visited Sri Lanka in Jan. 2004 and studied the actual rendered documents in Sinhalese and Tamil languages. In accordance with the studies, the working draft (SC34 N473) of Amd.3 to DSSSL Library was updated to be a PDAM text.
The PDAM3 to DSSSL Library will be discussed in the WG2 meeting, Amsterdam.
3. ISO/IEC 9541-3, Font information interchange - Glyph shape representation
3.1 Amd.1: Additional Shape Representation Technology
According to the last SC34 plenary, the project editor drafted a PDAM text of Amd.1 to ISO/IEC 9541-3.
The PDAM text will be discussed in the WG2 meeting, Amsterdam.
