This meeting will be held during the week of the XML 2004 Conference and Exposition

SC34 National Bodies and Liaison Organizations are instructed to provide the SC34 Secretariat with the names of all delegates attending the plenary as soon as possible, even if the list of delegates is empty. In particular, please identify those attendees who may have particular roles in the delegation such as the head of delegation (who will be called upon for their vote for your body).

Also, please note that all additions to the agenda should be requested prior to the meetings in order to ensure that all documentation can be provided to the delegates upon their arrival at the meetings.

Opening Plenary: Saturday, 13 November 2004, 09:00
Closing Plenary: Wednesday, 17 November 2004, 19:00-21:00

Additional WG times: Saturday 13 November 2004 through Sunday 14 November 2004, 09:00-18:00, two rooms available
(plus any other times and rooms organized by WGs)

Note that the tutorial day during the conference is Monday 15 November 2004

Important: WG chairs may be announcing meeting times prior to or after the conference and their WG meeting notices will be published as separate documents. No rooms are available from the conference organizers outside of the times and dates above.

*NOTE: Remember in the calendar there is reference to national bodies wanting to nominate working group convenors that they must send their nominations to the Secretariat Manager's attention before October 1, 2004 in order to have the convenors confirmed at the Washington plenary. Please refer to the JTC1 directives section 5.5 regarding WG convenors.

**NOTE: WG Conveners should have documents which will be needed for the closing plenary ready for distribution at noon on Wednesday and should be ready to indicate to the full working group at that time what items will be presented for decision (recommendations, liaison statements).
