Resolution 1: Endorsement of the Recommendations of WG1

SC34 accepts SC34 623, the Recommendations of WG1, approved at the May 2005 working group meeting in Amsterdam.

Resolution 2: Endorsement of the Recommendations of WG2

SC34 accepts SC34 624, the Recommendations of WG2, approved at the May 2005 working group meeting in Amsterdam.

Resolution 3: Endorsement of the Recommendations of WG3

SC34 accepts SC34 625, the Recommendations of WG3, approved at the May 2005 working group meeting in Amsterdam.

Resolution 4: Approval of Program of Work, Target Dates and Project Editor Assignments

JTC 1/SC 34 directs the Secretariat to revise the Program of Work, Target Dates and Project Editor Assignments and post it as SC 34 647. SC34 urges its WGs and NBs to keep the Secretariat informed of changes to the information in this document.

Resolution 5: JTC 1/SC 34 Future Meetings

SC 34 approves the following tentative meeting schedule:

Q2 2006 Seoul SC34 Plenary and WGs

SC34 requests that its WGs review their meeting requirements and communicate with the Secretariat.

Resolution 6: Open access to Parts 2, 3, and 4 of ISO/IEC 19757

JTC 1/SC 34 directs the Secretariat to request from JTC1 that Parts 2, 3, and 4 of ISO/IEC 19757 be made freely available on the Internet (because these standards are based on other standards that were freely available).

Resolution A: Hosting of Meeting

JTC 1/SC 34 expresses its appreciation to the IDEAlliance for hosting the Thirteenth Plenary Meeting of SC 34, at the XTech 2005 Conference in Amsterdam.

Resolution B: Hosting of WG1 Meeting

JTC 1/SC 34 expresses its appreciation to CSW for hosting the Meeting of SC 34/WG1 in Amsterdam.

Resolution C: Hosting of WG3 Meeting

JTC 1/SC 34 expresses its appreciation to Reed Elsevier for hosting the Meeting of SC 34/WG3 in Amsterdam.

Resolution D: Appreciation to SC 34 Chairman

JTC 1/SC 34 thanks Dr. James Mason for chairing the SC34 plenary and recognizes Dr. Mason's 20 years as chair of this committee and its predecessors, SC18/WG8 and JTC1/WG4.

Resolution E: Appreciation to SC 34 Secretariat

JTC1/SC 34 thanks Mr. Ken Holman for the support he provided at the SC 34 meeting and in preparation for the meeting.
