Report of SC34/WG2

1. ISO/IEC 9541, Font information interchange

1.1 Amd.2 to ISO/IEC 9541-2 (Font information interchange - Interchange format)

Project Editors of ISO/IEC 9541-2/Amd.2 drafted the PDAM text of Amd.2 to harmonize ISO/IEC 9541-2 with the specification of ISO/IEC 9541-4 (ISO/IEC 14496-22), including the user requirements for extension to font reference shown in WG2 N217.

1.2 Amd.4 to ISO/IEC 9541-1 (Font information interchange - Architecture)

Project Editors of ISO/IEC 9541-1/Amd.4 drafted the PDAM text of Amd.4 to harmonize ISO/IEC 9541-1 with the specification of ISO/IEC 9541-4 (ISO/IEC 14496-22), including the discussion on draft Cor.4 to ISO/IEC 9541-1.


2. ISO/IEC 24754, Minimum requirements for specifying document rendering systems

2.1 CD

The CD text (SC34 N0745) was approved by the CD ballot closed on 2006-08-31 as shown in SC34 N0783: Summary of Voting on JTC 1/SC 34 N 745 - Text for CD Ballot - ISO/IEC CD 24754.

2.2 FCD

The CD ballot disposition (WG2 N257) will be discussed in the Boston meeting to finalize the FCD text (WG2 N258) of ISO/IEC 24754.
