8.10 Font Referencing Properties

8.10.1 Typeface Class (TYPEFACECLASS)

TYPEFACECLASS is a value-list that consists of three codes and a message.

8.10.2 Kind (KIND)

KIND is a structured name, the name that identifies the application field. The ISO/IEC 9541 kind object names are TEXT, HANDWRITTEN, DECORATIVE and SYMBOL.

8.10.3 Serif Style (SERIFSTYLE)

SERIFSTYLE is a structured name, the name that identifies the shape of serif. The ISO/IEC 9541 serif style object names are COVE, NORMAL SANS, ROUNDED and NO CLASSIFICATION.
