Dan Boyd

Dan Boyd was appointed to his current position of Assistant Deputy Minister of Consumer Services and Infrastructure Development Division with the Department of Community Services in June 2007. This diverse Division includes the following Program Areas: Building Safety, Corporate Affairs, Consumer Services, Employment Standards, Motor Vehicles and Infrastructure Development.

Mr. Boyd began his career in the construction industry, eventually owning and operating his own construction company. He joined the Yukon Government in 1988 as a Project Manager for the Yukon Housing Corporation. Along with a number of other positions, he has served as Vice President of the Yukon Housing Corporate, Assistant Deputy Minister of Policy and Communications, and Assistant Deputy Minister of Projective Services. Mr. Boyd has also served as a council member for the City of Whitehorse from 1994 to 2000.

Mr. Boyd was born and raised in Yukon. He enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering for the community and a variety of outdoor activities.
