Q: Will my management system certification be recognized in other countries?

A:

Management system certifications from one country are generally accepted in others - in fact,  the growing global recognition of certification to management systems is prompting some businesses to seek certification to improve their access to foreign markets.

Organizations who have been certified by an accredited management system certification body have even greater likelihood of having their certifications recognized abroad. This is because many accreditation bodies,  including the Standards Council of Canada are working, have signed mutual recognition agreements which cover most major markets in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Pacific Rim. The Standards Council is a member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC).
