SCC Releases CAN-P-7 Web Orientation Module on Canadian Participation in International Standards Development Committees

The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) has developed a web-based orientation module that will help guide your participation in international standards development committees. The module provides an overview of the CAN-P-7 procedural document.

Both the module and procedural document were developed for Canadians, such as yourself, who participate in the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

The CAN-P-7 module outlines the requirements for participation in international standards development activities. Through its orientation and training features, the web module can benefit you, whether you are new to international standards or are a technical expert.

The module will help technical experts continue to be valuable contributors to Canada’s national standardization network through their international-level work.
