NSF announces expanded scope of lab accreditation

The scope of NSF International’s existing laboratory accreditation from the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) has been expanded to include athletic banned substances in dietary supplements and functional foods or drinks. NSF's intent is to help companies produce safer supplements for athletes and consumers, and to help address the increase in recalls and doping found in these products.
