In order to be approved, the NP shall be supported by
a majority of all P‑members of JTC 1 * with at least five P‑members
of the SC to which the project will be assigned committed to active participation.
Based on the results of this letter ballot, this NP is APPROVED, and will
be added to the SC 34 Program of Work
Q1. The UK supports the general principle that
other specialist entity sets (eg chemistry) should
be collected and published in a similar Technical
Report. However, the UK considers that
the
publication of the current proposed revision of ISO TR
9573-13 should not be delayed (whilst
such collections are prepared) and proposes that any new collections
are the subject of
separate Technical Reports.
Q5&6. The UK have already submitted a
draft contribution which is being balloted as PDTR
9573-13 (SC 34 N 0433)
