SCC Distinguished Service Award
This award recognizes notable contributions made by a Committee Officer (e.g. Secretary, Treasurer, Editor, Translator) of a standards-related committee.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for the SCC Distinguished Service Award must be able to demonstrate:
- Participation, leadership or technical assistance in the development, promotion or implementation of policies, standards or guides (through certification or accreditation programs) that have contributed significantly to Canadian standardization efforts for a period of at least three (3) years;
- Committee administrative responsibilities (e.g. organizational and reporting skills);
- Timeliness in carrying out the responsibilities.
