 Web Content Display Canadian Standards Strategy (2005-2008)First drafted in 2000 and updated in 2005, the Canadian Standards Strategy (CSS) provides strategic direction to the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), the National Standards System (NSS) and the Canadian standardization community as a whole.
The 2005-2008 version of the CSS built on the original strategy and contained a mix of research, communication and cooperative activities. Recognizing that many of the solutions to the issues facing Canada involve a standards or conformity assessment related component, the CSS is designed to accommodate new standardization challenges as they arise. 2005-2008 CSS Progress Reports For each of the goals, the CSS identifies one or more supporting objectives. |
